Camshafts
All Billet Camshafts are profiled from new blade drive blanks.Use OP1107 or Blade Oil Pump. All Piper Billet Blank camshafts are through and Cross Drilled for maximum lubrication to the cam followers which extends the camshaft and cam follower life.
Note: We recommend installing new cam followers when fitting a new or replacing the camshaft.

Excellent all round camshaft for all engine sizes. Hi-torque, smooth idle.Kind on valve gear due to base circle design,tappets set at 0.012" so quiet in valve train noise levels. Better than 266.

Multi point injection cam. Excellent power and torque and very good idle. We recommend using the 48mm throttle boby with this Camshaft.See also Cylinder head for more power info.

The 649 as we all know was THE camshaft from the Leyland special tuning days. The 649 S brings this profile to life. as used by the British Miglia formula series as well as may Sprite or Midget Challenge Engines.Powers from 3800rpm to allow the engine to rev over 8500 depending on the breathing capability of the cylinder head being used.

Phase 2 Turbo cam Billet

Our Phase 2 turbo cam is the product of 15 years worth of testing. On a good engine you will start creating boost at 1500rpm and when you hit 4000rpm you better be watching the road not the rev counter. Time this cam in at 108 degrees.

Fast Road Camshaft to MG Metro Spec CAM 6648 Blank

Great camshaft in all engine capacities including Turbo. This is our Phase 1 as used in the MG Metro Challenge cup racing. Allows Rpm in excess of 8000 with the right engine build. Brilliant with a hi-boost set up ( ie 10-12 psi ) camshaft spec is to original MG Metro lift and duration. Great mid range power.
